Lead By Example

Many of us may remember our parents saying: “Do as I say, not as I do!” This is an adage that none of us can truly get away with, especially if we are parents ourselves now, LOL! Here’s some food for thought, even if you’re not a parent, you still may have an influence on someone in your life. Young or old there are people who draw energy and experience from you. What are you giving them?

I have to check myself constantly because my daughter is impressionable. I am her first example and strongest influence. However, I realize that my example goes way beyond my own household. Your inner and outer circle should be a direct reflection of you. If you don’t like the reflection you see, lead by example to a better standard. Seek God’s guidance and watch the blessings flow!
